I returned to Minneapolis yesterday, and my “brain is full” of so many wonderful memories of Finland. I got to know friends I made during my previous trip to Kuopio in February 2008 much better, and I made some terrific new friends. I’ve come back with so many good ideas that I learned from Finnish culture and innovation. I took 3,107 photos. I have so much more to share!
So while I am back on Minnesota soil, I will be writing more in the next few weeks about the Minneapolis-Kuopio Sister City relationship, the Kuopio Housing Fair and perhaps a few more of the three thousand photos I took on this trip. (I wonder how many photos I would have taken if I had to lug around 35 mm film rolls?)
